• Aranayak Fuel and Power is launching India’s first commercial-scale biomass-based green hydrogen plant in Uttar Pradesh. The plant will use a novel technology developed by IIT-BHU to produce hydrogen, methane and bio-coal from agricultural waste.
  • The technology developed by IIT-BHU for biomass-based green hydrogen production is based on a novel reactor called thermally accelerated anerobic digestor (TAD). This reactor can convert agricultural waste into hydrogen, methane and bio-coal using a combination of heat and bacteria.
