- Adani Total Gas has begun production at its Barsana Biogas Plant, which is expected to be India’s largest biogas plant upon completion. The Barsana Biogas Project is built in three phases. Upon full completion, it can process 600 tons of feedstock daily, generating over 42 tons of Compressed Bio Gas (CBG) and 217 tons of organic fertilizer.
- The biogas plant will utilize agricultural waste and cattle dung, offering a way to manage these materials and create a valuable product. Organic fertilizer production alongside biogas is an added benefit, promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
