Description

Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh inaugurated the facility in Pune, which will produce PLA bioplastics using indigenous technology. This marks a significant step toward reducing plastic pollution and promoting green alternatives.India’s bioeconomy, valued at $150 billion in 2023, is projected to reach $300 billion by 2030. The initiative aligns with goals for a ‘Net Zero’ carbon economy and the ‘Lifestyle for the Environment (LiFE)’ initiative.
