Description

UGM students developed "Toga Mask," a facial mask made from red pitaya peel and corn cob. The mask combines the skin benefits of vitamin C, E, and antioxidants from the pitaya peel with activated carbon from corn cob to cleanse and moisturize the skin. The project addresses waste issues while creating a marketable, eco-friendly product. The mask is safe, affordable, and available for purchase.

Pathway Description:

The process involves collecting pitaya peel, which is rich in vitamin C, vitamin E, and antioxidants, and combining it with activated carbon powder made from corn cob. The pitaya peel and activated carbon are mixed together to create a facial mask formula that is natural, skin-nourishing, and helps cleanse the skin by removing excess oils.
