Nagaland’s Green Energy Initiative: Bamboo Biomass at ₹5.06/kWh

• A biomass-based power producer, Hutah Industries, signed a PPA with the Department of Power, Nagaland, for a 10 MW bamboo biomass project. 

• The project will use a tissue culture technique to grow bamboo and a technology-based platform to manage the biomass supply chain. The tariff for the power is ₹5.06/kWh for 25 years.
