- India is seeking to accelerate collaborations with Germany in the biofuel sector, especially in processing feedstock beyond sugar-based sources, such as paddy straw and municipal solid waste.
- India also launched the Global Biofuel Alliance under its G20 Presidency, to facilitate biofuel adoption among participating countries and international organisations.
