- India and Seychelles will conduct a joint project for the introduction of biofuels in the island country in the coming year, according to Seychelles’ Minister of Energy, Climate Change and Agriculture Flavien P Joubert.
- Seychelles joined the India-led Global Biofuel Alliance last year, but has not yet started using the alternative fuel.
- The project will involve an assessment of the economic feasibility of importing or producing biofuel from waste products on a national level.
