Petroleum Minister Hardeep S Puri Launches: “ETHANOL 100” Fuel.

1. Hardeep Singh Puri launched ‘ETHANOL 100’ automotive fuel, available at 183 retail outlets across five states.
2. The government aims for 20% ethanol blending by 2025-26, with E20 already available at 12,000 outlets.
3. Ethanol blending initiatives have enhanced farmer incomes, increased rural employment, and reduced CO2 emissions, saving Rs 85,000 crore in foreign exchange over the past decade.
