Indian Biogas Association joins hands with HAI to Promote Hydrogen

1. IBA and HAI have signed an MoU to advance bio-based energy solutions, focusing on green and blue hydrogen. The green hydrogen market in India is projected to reach $8 billion by 2030 and $340 billion by 2050.
2. The alliance will facilitate training, capacity building, and policy advocacy to promote hydrogen energy. This initiative is part of broader efforts to achieve energy self-sufficiency and sustainable development in India.
3. The partnership aims to reduce India’s dependence on imported energy by promoting domestic hydrogen production. Advocacy for policies that support the hydrogen and biogas ecosystem will be a key focus of this collaboration.
