- Nanda Devi Bio Energy is building a 160 KLPD grain-based ethanol plant in Tamil Nadu, producing 5.28 crore liters annually from rice and maize.
- The plant supports the E20 blending policy and will reduce transportation costs for Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs).
- Set to begin operations by August 2024.
