1. BPCL will invest around ₹100 crore to set up CBG plants in Raipur and Bhilai, with each plant having a capacity of 100-150 tonnes per day.
  2. The plants will utilize approximately 200-250 metric tonnes of municipal solid waste daily to produce biofuel and organic fertilizer as a byproduct.
  3. The initiative is expected to generate around 60,000 man-days of employment, directly and indirectly, every year, and the state will receive GST revenue of around ₹45 lakhs per year when production and sales reach full capacity.
