‘ETHANOL 100’ hits the road at 183 Indian Oil Stations in Five States

1. Indian Oil has introduced Ethanol 100 (E100) fuel at 183 fuel stations across five states in India. The states where E100 is available include Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, and Gujarat.
2. The introduction of E100 fuel is part of a larger pilot project aimed at evaluating the feasibility and performance of ethanol-blended fuels. This initiative is aligned with India’s national biofuel policy, which aims to increase the blending of ethanol in fuel to reduce carbon emissions.
