  3. Ethanol, an organic fuel made from farm waste, molasses, and grains, is being promoted as a cleaner alternative to conventional fossil fuels. It is available in various blends, with E85 (83% ethanol) being noted for its significantly lower tailpipe emissions compared to regular petrol.
