Gruner Renewable Energy Secures Compressed Biogas Projects worth INR 1,500 crore

1. Gruner Renewable Energy secured multiple contracts for compressed biogas (CBG) projects totaling INR 1,500 crore ($180 million). The projects will collectively produce 88,000 tons of CBG per year.
2. Plants will be located across various cities including Ayodhya, Satna, Balasore, Navsari, Yavatmal, Vijayawada, and Rajahmundry.
3. The initiative aims to reduce India’s crude oil import costs by INR 8 billion and support the country’s goal of becoming a net-zero economy by 2070.
